Role Summary

The Accounting Manager will oversee accounting operations and financial reporting for a real estate development company, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Saudi regulatory requirements while supporting project-based accounting and management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and SOCPA.

•Manage general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets, and project accounting.

•Ensure accurate accounting of real estate development costs, WIP, capitalization, revenue recognition, and provisions.

•Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and regulators.

•Ensure compliance with Zakat, Tax, and VAT requirements in KSA.

•Monitor budgets, project costs, and variance analysis for development projects.

•Maintain internal controls and support ERP/accounting system improvements.

•Lead and develop the accounting team and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

•Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent).

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

•Minimum 5 years’ experience with a Top 10 audit firm in Saudi Arabia in Audit section.

•Experience in real estate development, construction, or related sectors preferred.

•Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOCPA, VAT, and Zakat in KSA.
