About HAKA
Scope
The candidate shall have in depth Knowledge of Substation Protection System & shall be able to analyze a variety of systems, which include conventional and renewable generation facilities, substations, and transmission & distribution systems.
Responsibilities
Preparation of Detail Scope of work (Tender Documentation) related to protection systems.
Design protection, control and metering systems for electrical substations of 11 to 500 kV from conceptual stage through construction and commissioning.
Deliver high quality, cost effective protection solutions that meet the Technical Standards & requirement of SEC & Industry for assigned projects.
Interactions with Other Disciplines (Substation, Telecom, and Civil Structural, etc).
Experience interfacing design with other substation engineering disciplines such as electrical and telecom.
Review protection system equipment and coordination at new and/or existing substations, and develop protection system settings.
Provide protection system engineering support.
Developing one-lines, schematics, panel layouts and wiring diagrams for power system protective relaying and metering systems.
Preparing and reviewing drawing lists, engineering documents.
Reviewing design documentation to ensure the design satisfies the project’s requirements.
Reviewing of vendor documents (Technical Evaluation) against Scope of Work, applicable SEC Standards & specifications.
Responsible to Successfully address Pre-bid & Post bid Clarifications.
Participating in client technical and constructability review meetings.
Familiarity with latest Substation protection schemes and control maintenance and operational practices.
Working with Client Standards to Implement Design.
Working with a Designer/Drafter to Create the Required Drawings for Each Project.
Qualification
Bachelor's in electrical engineering
9-14 Years of experience.
