About HAKA
Scope
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for contributing to the design of the company’s IT systems and infrastructure to ensure alignment with its business goals, optimize efficiency, and enable effective information flow. This role focuses on providing input to the Enterprise Architecture Manager so that they can create a strategic and holistic view of technology within the company.
Responsibilities
The role holder will have knowledge of the rules, procedures and in some cases, the principles and practices within the Enterprise Architecture discipline.
They will be tasked with selectively extracting, verifying, and compiling objective and measurable data. In some instances, they may determine the course of action based on established principles and modify existing processes and methods.
Develop EA strategy and overall technology architecture direction for the company IT’s technology portfolio.
Document the company’s current and target enterprise architecture, including business architecture, application architecture, data architecture, and technology infrastructure.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of architectural principles, standards, guidelines, and governance frameworks that will guide technology decision-making and ensure consistency across projects and systems.
Create and maintain architectural artifacts, such as architecture diagrams, models, and documentation, to communicate and visualize the architecture to stakeholders.
Maintain a technology roadmap that outlines the strategic direction and evolution the company’s IT infrastructure.
Provide architectural guidance and support to project teams during the solution design phase.
Assess proposed solutions and technologies to ensure they align with the enterprise architecture principles, standards, and strategic objectives with guidance from the Enterprise Architecture Lead.
Conduct impact assessments of proposed changes or enhancements to existing systems and infrastructure.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, information technology or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required.
Master’s degree in business administration, computer science, information technology or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.
7 years’ experience in the same Field.
TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect (ZCEA), Certified IT Architect, or any relevant certifications preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.
