Scope

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to manage payroll operations and support financial processes by ensuring accurate payroll administration and invoice processing. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of payroll practices, strong accounting skills, and hands-on experience with Saudi payroll regulations and systems.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and in a timely manner.

• Ensure payroll calculations comply with company policies and Saudi labor regulations.

• Maintain payroll records and employee payroll data.

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

• Coordinate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll and payment-related discrepancies.

• Prepare payroll reports and support month-end closing activities.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GOSI, WPS (Mudad), and other relevant Saudi regulations.

• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and internal stakeholders.

• Assist with payroll audits and maintain confidentiality of payroll information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll accounting.

• Proven experience in payroll processing and invoice processing.

• Strong understanding of the full invoicing cycle, including preparing, reviewing, verifying, processing, and reconciling invoices while ensuring accuracy and compliance with the company procedures.

• Experience matching invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely payments.

• Strong knowledge of Saudi payroll systems, Saudi labor regulations, GOSI, WPS (Mudad), and other applicable statutory requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/payroll software.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
