Scope

The role supports the integrity, availability, and performance of electrical distribution networks, substations, building electrical systems, and other facility-related assets in compliance with company standards, specifications, regulatory requirements. And assist in managing, maintaining, and enhancing all electrical systems and infrastructure within company facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

The incumbent should possess hands-on experience in facility management, building systems inspection, testing and commissioning (T&C), handover activities, and operational readiness, with a strong practical background in coordinating with project teams, contractors, and facility management stakeholders to ensure the successful transition of facilities from construction to operations.

Responsibilities
  • Building commissioning, testing, startup, and handover activities for large-scale facilities and infrastructure projects.

  • Inspection, testing, performance verification, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, lighting systems, and power distribution networks.

  • Coordination and verification of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems during commissioning and handover phases.

  • Reviewing and validating Testing & Commissioning (T&C) reports, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, as-built drawings, and technical documentation.

  • Managing and monitoring snag/punch lists, ensuring timely closure of deficiencies prior to facility acceptance.

  • Site-based experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, project teams (PMT), and facility management stakeholders.

  • Facility handover and transition from project/construction phase to operations and maintenance.

  • Conducting inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, Saudi Codes, and relevant international standards.

  • Supporting large and complex projects involving the handover of multiple buildings or facilities.

  • Working closely with Facility Management teams to ensure operational readiness, maintainability, and asset integrity.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and facility asset management practices.

  • Experience within the oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure sectors is highly preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical Engineer

Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC), SEC requirements, NFPA, IEC, IEEE, and other applicable international standards.

Professional certifications related to commissioning, facility management, reliability, or electrical systems are considered an advantage.
