Scope
The Safety Inspector will be responsible for supporting and monitoring workplace health and safety practices across operational and project activities. The role involves conducting site inspections, identifying potential hazards and unsafe practices, ensuring compliance with applicable HSE requirements and company procedures, and providing recommendations to improve workplace safety. The successful candidate will work closely with site personnel and relevant departments to promote a strong safety culture and ensure that safety standards are consistently maintained.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Safety Inspector or in a similar HSE role.
Minimum 5 years of experience in an Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical company.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of HSE standards, procedures, and practices.
Experience conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and recommending corrective actions.
Good knowledge of workplace safety regulations and risk assessment practices.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work effectively in site-based and operational environments.
