Scope

The Project Management Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the execution of capital projects throughout their lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and project closeout. The role involves project performance tracking, resource planning, risk management, reporting, and data-driven decision-making to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

1- Project Planning & Controls

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, and milestones.

  • Establish project baselines and track progress against approved plans.

  • Monitor project performance and identify schedule and cost variances.

  • Support project budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation activities.

  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.

2- Capital Project Management

  • Manage and oversee capital investment projects throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Monitor project costs, contracts, and change management processes.

  • Ensure compliance with project governance, company policies, and industry standards.

  • Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation plans.

  • Support project closeout activities, performance reviews, and lessons learned documentation.

3- Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret project data to support management decision-making.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor project health and performance.

  • Analyze trends related to schedule, costs, productivity, and project risks.

  • Present project status and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

  • Utilize project management and analytical tools to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

4- Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.

  • Facilitate project meetings and prepare progress reports.

  • Communicate project updates, risks, and key performance indicators to management.

Requirements
  • Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in project planning, project management, and project monitoring/control.

  • Minimum 6 years of experience managing capital projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in project performance reporting and data analysis.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and project controls practices.
